Studio180 Design Aurora and Sunset Blog Hop

Studio180 Design's latest fabric collections, Aurora and Sunset, are COLORFUL, BRIGHT, and FUN! 

I chose Studio180 Design Blockbusters #60 Fireworks to showcase the 2 different collections. The block is made using the Square Squared, the Corner Pop II, and the Tucker Trimmer I tools. The Non Mirror Combo Units Technique sheet is required, along with a little help from the Quilter's Magic Wand!

The block is made up of 3 different units:
Unit A: Popped Combination Unit (4)

Unit B: Popped Rectangles (4)

Unit C: Square Squared (1)

Once the blocks are completed, I put them side by side to see how the 2 different fabrics will complement each other. 

I decided to make a block combining the 2 collections together, and made a wallhanging. I chose to keep my quilt simple because I want people to see the colorfulness of these fabrics, without too much distractions!
